Gen2Media and Regent Comm to Develop Internet TV Channels for Radio Websites

Gen2Media Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: GTWO), a fully integrated digital media, technology and marketing company, today announced that it has signed a License and Joint Venture Agreement with Regent Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq: RGCI) to create, develop and manage an ad-supported online television channel for each of Regent’s 60 U.S.-based radio station websites.

Leveraging Gen2Media’s proprietary, patented video publishing and content management program, each of Regent’s radio station web sites will feature its own individually-branded Internet television channel capable of providing listeners and Internet visitors with access to originally produced or syndicated video content and programming.

“Our partnership with Gen2Media enables our stations to enhance their music position in their markets with a high quality video experience. The syndicated content makes it easy and cost effective for each station to expand their local brand into the video space and the publishing tools make it possible for us to create and tailor channels to each station’s unique identity,” said Larry Downes, Vice President of Technology and Digital Media at Regent. “In addition, our sales people will have another powerful on-line marketing tool to offer our local advertisers.”

The parties have adopted a rollout schedule for the channels, beginning this month, starting with the Regent radio properties in Grand Rapids, Michigan: WLHT-FM 95.7 (Adult Contemporary); WGRD-FM 97.9 (Modern Rock); and WTRV-FM 100.5 (Soft Adult Contemporary). Stations serving Evansville, Indiana; Owensboro, Kentucky; Albany, New York; and Buffalo, New York will follow in April, May and June. All remaining stations will launch on a successive basis between July and December of this year.
