CougarLife.com President Petitions ABC to Allow Her Commercial to Air During Cougar Town

cougarlifeLos Angeles : Claudia Opdenkelder, Founder of CougarLife.com, is calling on women everywhere to help her put an end to what she considers ‘sexist discrimination’ by ABC. The Disney owned network has refused to air her commercial during “Cougar Town” stating that even though the commercial met ABC’s broadcast standards, they had a problem with promoting a dating service for older women and younger men.

CougarLife.com is the first dating site of its kind – where mature, independent women (never-married, divorced, and single moms) can date younger men.

According to Ms. Opdenkelder, ABC’s last minute decision not to air her commercial came as quite a shock considering her team worked hand in hand with the network to create a commercial that would adhere to their advertising guidelines.

“Unfortunately ABC has demonstrated a real lack of tolerance towards the diverse relationships American women choose to pursue,” she explains.

Although other networks have begun to air the commercial, Ms. Opdenkelder is asking women of all ages everywhere to SIGN A PETITION demanding that ABC reconsider its current position and air the CougarLife.com commercial.
