New York : Azteca America Spot TV Sales, the in- house rep firm of Azteca America Network, announced today the signing of McGraw-Hill stations in the Denver, Colorado Springs, San Diego and Bakersfield DMA’s.

The stations covered under the agreement include three full power Azteca America stations, including Azteca America Colorado KZCO, 7.27 digital, Azteca America Kern County KZKC, 42.2 digital, and Azteca America San Diego AZSD, 10.15 digital.

“We’re excited about adding the McGraw-Hill stations to our service,” said Bob Turner, President of Sales for Azteca America Network and Azteca America Spot TV Sales. “We said last year that our plan was to represent the entire Azteca America affiliate group, and we’re at 97% of the goal. The McGraw Hill stations join existing Azteca America O&Os and the UVM station group to create a comprehensive representation of the Azteca America lineup.”

Azteca America Spot TV Sales has sales offices in New York, Miami, Chicago, San Antonio, Dallas and Los Angeles, allowing for full client service from coast to coast.

“Partnering with Azteca America Spot TV Sales will provide best-in-class advertising solutions for our customers in our high-growth Azteca markets,” said Darrell Brown, President, McGraw-Hill Broadcasting. “Over the past few years we’ve connected with local Hispanic viewers by leveraging the news, promotion, and community outreach resources of McGraw-Hill’s ABC stations to create strong local brands and quality program services.”

Throughout 2009 McGraw-Hill upgraded its Azteca signals to full power distribution in Denver, San Diego and Bakersfield to reach more viewers. The resulting distribution gains have been an important factor in increasing viewership in these areas.
