Los Angeles: Actor Jimmy Kimmel has been selected to host this year's Emmy Awards.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place Sep 23, reports contactmusic.com.
Kimmel, 44, was recently given the honour of conducting Madonna's only promotional interview for her forthcoming Mdna album.
